This was a good episode, I liked it. There was a lot of battling motivations going on, all having to do with Connor. Wesley wanted to save Connor from Angel. Angel was drinking a lot again, but because the pig’s blood was spiked with Connor’s, so he had a taste for it. Holtz apparently wanted Connor as a replacement child for the son Angel killed 200 years ago. (If this info was revealed long ago, Holtz would have been a much scarier figure.) Wolfram & Hart wanted Connor alive, for reasons I don’t know or forget. And Sarjahn, the demon who hired W&H and Holtz, wants Connor dead. So they all battled it out, and in the end, Holtz sort of won–he initially wanted to go live in Utah with Connor, but instead took him into some other hell dimension, away from Angel. I was kind of expecting this story to go on until the end of the season, so now I don’t know what is next. But that’s how this season goes.
