Lost #1.17: In Translation
This was a cool episode, with a lot happening. Not regarding where they are, getting off the island, or what the mysterious presence is that haunts them, of course, but still a lot went down.
The weirdest part was in the Jin flashback, which told his point-of-view to Sun’s story many episodes ago. While he was at some guy’s house on business (I can’t remember why), the guy’s daughter was watching TV. I happened to notice that Hurley was on the TV! WHY?! That has become Question #1 to me. Why in the freak was Hurley on Korean television?
All the other stuff that happened was pretty cool too, I guess. Shannon and Sayid hooked up. Michael, in a couple of days, seemed to have built a gigantic and impressive raft out of twigs and string. His son burned it down, because he likes being on the island. Everyone blamed Jin for the burning, and beat him senseless, until Sun revealed she knew English and they stopped. Then Jin got mad at her (I do find being stranded on a mysterious island to be a strange place for a marital dispute, but what do I know?). They apparently broke up, and now Sun is free to walk around in her bikini.
