Lost #1.12: Whatever The Case May Be
I think I liked this episode the best so far, it was entertaining and pretty dramatic. There were an awful lot of flipflops though.
For instance, it starts with Sawyer and Kate insulting each other, then they are playing in a romantic waterfall, then they find some corpses underwater. Then Kate sees a case she wants, then lets Sawyer have it, then tries to take it back, then Sawyer has it still, and then she (quite easily) convinces Jack to get it. It was sort of like her flashback, where she was a victim of a bank robbery, then part of the bank robbery, then rebels on her fellow bank robbers, then it turns out the bank robbery was her idea, and she shoots one of the others who she loved. I think those are accurate paraphrases.
In the end though, all these plot twists were cool. Plot twists are fine, but sometimes too many can be annoying, or be too unbelievable. Neither happened here.
Time to update my Creepy List!
Currently, I find Sawyer, Boone, Crazy French Lady, and Merry Brandybuck/Charlie creepy. The Asian husband has not been on the show in awhile, so I guess he’s still creepy, not sure about that.
I no longer (for now anyway) have Locke or Kate on the list; they are uncreepy. Occasionally there are hints about Michael, but I like him and thus he remains uncreepy. Everyone else remains suspicion-free and is not on the list.
