This episode was basically one long flashback, uninterrupted, so it was unique that way. It told the story how Michael ended up on the boat, using the pseudonym Kevin Johnson. I guess after he and Walt left The Island, he told Walt he had killed Ana and Libby so Walt hates him now. So Michael became suicidal and unsuccessfully tried to kill himself a few times. Then one of Ben’s guys from The Island showed up and told Michael that The Island wouldn’t let him kill himself, and convinced him to get on the boat and kill everyone on it. That’s really it. Nothing earthshattering or particularly interesting there. In the end Sayid finds all this out, so turns Michael in to the ship captain.

And then in the end, Alex and Danielle and Alex’s boyfriend are sent off by Ben to a Temple for sanctuary. On the way there, they’re attacked by hidden snipers and Alex’s boyfriend is shot and then so is Danielle. Does anyone really care if Alex’s boyfriend and Danielle are there anymore?
