I didn’t like this episode, really. I can’t quite fingerpoint why. The Flashback was both a FlashForward AND a FlashBack. And the only reason it was both was to momentarily confuse people, not for any legitimate story reason. The FlashForward showed Sun giving birth–so she is the 6th of the Oceanic Six. Interwoven was scenes of Jin trying to get to a hospital with a stuffed panda. So it’s like, oh he’s the 7th survivor? Then at the end you realize his scenes were FlashBacks and he was trying to get to a different birth, which had nothing to do with anything at all. And it turns out, in the FlashForward, he’s dead and Jin is alone with the baby (though Hurley came to visit).

Anyway also Sayid and Desmond talk to the captain of the boat they’re on, who tells them Penny’s Dad is behind it, and that they want Ben. Then they run into Michael! I’m not as excited about that as I might’ve been awhile ago, so hopefully it turns into something cool.
