Whoosh… this episode filled in what happened to Michael when he ran out to find Walt. He was taken prisoner by The Others. Walt was there, and to free Walt, Michael has to go back to the camp and get Kate, Jack, Hurley and Sawyer to come to The Others. In the present, he’s doing just that, getting them to come. But Sayid wants to come, and he’s not on the list, and Hurley doesn’t want to. So Michael’s been going around acting frustrated, as well as appearing to suffer a bit of a guilty conscience for his killings (a bit of Crime And Punishment perhaps).

And… I was right I think about Sayid. He was the one who could tell Michael was up to something. He knows, he always knows. That’s his job in this story.

Show ended with a sailboat sailing up to the shore. WHAT?
