What done Kate? In her flashback, she killed her stepdad, who was really her dad. That’s why the Feds were after her, she killed him for insurance and went on the run. Still don’t know (or I don’t remember) why she was in that bank robbery shoot-out.

On the island, though, Kate went crazy. Sawyer admitted, in a delirious medicated whisper to Jack, he loved Kate. (I guess now Shannon’s dead, and Sayid’s cool again, they need to turn a different cool guy into a romantic cheeseball.) Kate then kissed Jack and ran away. She kept seeing a horse, which turns out was real and not a crazed hallucination.

Unfortunately for Kate, since this was her episode, the amazingly interesting part had nothing to do with her. Michael and Ecko were watching the Dharma video about pushing the button ever 2 hours. Turns out Eko had found a book with a snippet of the film in it! So they put the film back together, and it warns them NOT to use the computer for any other reason whatsoever or else, kthx. At the same time they’re watching that, Michael’s fondling the computer cables when the computer beeps and he starts an IM chat with someone—who upon being told he was chatting with Michael, typed “Dad?” WOW. That was a sweet ending.

How could it be Walt? Where is he? The Pirates that kidnapped him have internet access? The underground hatch has internet access? Sayid admitted that he saw Walt too, so Shannon wasn’t crazy either (she was chasing after Walt before she was shot). So, if the horse is real, must so be Walt?
