A lot happened in this episode, I think it’s building to some sort of decent ending to a disappointing season maybe. Connor and Holtz are back, and Angel is trying to win Connor over. Holtz pretends to want Connor to go back to Angel… but it’s his last attempt at revenge. He basically gets that red-haired lady to kill him, making it look like Angelus did it. So Connor is now angry at Angelus and will try to kill him in the finale, finally obtaining Holtz’ long-strived-for revenge.

Connor is really unlikable too… even though he grew up in some hell dimension and thrust back to Earth, it’s not like a Buffyverse character to not have some sort of charm. Even Groosalugg has a little! Hopefully they’ll fix that at some point.

Also Wolfram & Hart are still trying to recruit Wesley, but he’s pretty much not a focal point of anything right now.
