Heartbroken Angel and Heartbroken Wesley mope around, while Cordelia dresses Groosallug up as Angel, leading to some almost Three’s Company hinjinks. Also Gunn and Fred get caught by a ridiculous-looking Ent! In the end, Angel comes to terms somewhat and sends Cordelia and Groosallug off together. Wesley also comes to terms and tells Gunn to be nice to Fred. And then I think the rest of the season gets set up by a simple scary shot of what Wesley’s been translating: “The Father Will Kill The Son.” Hmm might this season be saved by some craziness?! Does Connor finally have a purpose to the story?!
