I’m halfway through this episode, but needed a tension break because that was the scariest thing ever when Crazy French Lady was asking Claire about her baby and Claire realized it was her who tried to attack her earlier!! Yeeeeeesh. Chills.

Oh yea and that Extra Who Knew About The Weather, he was like being all annoying, so he exploded!

UPDATE:

SEASON 1 DONE! That was quite an ending, with lots of unexpected child-thieving!

First, Crazy French Lady took Claire’s baby, and Sayid got to be all bad-ass and get him back.

Then Michael/Sawyer/Jin/Walt ran into Creepy Kidnapping Pirates, who took Walt, shot Sawyer (I think) and blew up their boat! Wow, that’s completely insane. There was no explanation, they just demanded the boy and took him. What’s more freaky and scary than that? I kind of wish that was the last scene- Michael floating in sea next to the burning boat, as Walt gets hauled away by The Pirates. I see no way for them to survive, except of course, for Walt being a superhero.

That wasn’t the last scene though, because of the Window Into The Ground back on the island. I thought the dynamite was for some protection from The Others, but I was mistaken–it was to blow the Window Into The Ground up. (Though I believe they intend to use the hatch as protection from The Others, so I wasn’t entirely wrong.) They blew the roof off the sucker, revealing a long Ladder Into The Ground! WHERE WILL IT GO?
