The heroes save everyone, and make it back to LA! They bring back Fred, who I suddenly found very cool and intriguing. I’m curious how she’ll handle coming back to Earth and reacclimating and if she has old family and stuff. Somehow I doubt that angle will be a focus of anything in season 3, but I hope she becomes a useful character.

Also Cordelia was forced to choose between her apparent love for the Groosalugg and keeping her visions. She chose the visions. How this sacrifice will change her also will be interesting to see.

Also the big season 2 ending was actually from Buffy… because upon returning back, they learn that she died. What this will do to Angel, I look forward to seeing.
