Meh, I guess here in the middle of the season, they’re taking a little break and just doing some standalone-style episodes. They’re fine, but not nearly as exciting as they were when Darla and Drusilla were around. I mean, this one was about some heartbroken scientist who wants to stop time, and who really cares? It wasn’t an unimportant episode, because Angel (with The Host’s help) (who is still annoying and still always wrong about his prescience) begins to realize that his disconnection is not the best thing. So sounds like Angel may take some steps to re-friend Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn… he hasn’t actually had a scene with them in a few episodes. They’re somewhat broken up about this, but also coping just fine with their own agency (hilariously).
