“I Fall To Pieces” was a very standard monster episode. Again, it reminded me heavily of The X-Files. An eye surgeon is stalking a girl, and it is soon figured out by Angel that the doctor can detach his body parts and send them out into the world and then have them reattach. The reveal of “how is he doing that?!” was very X-Files-y, who of course were the master of the monster episodes.

Other than that, there was nothing of note for the greater story. The girl who Angel was protecting was NOT blonde. I guess Angel was sometimes tapping into his past as a lovelorn vampire to figure out how this stalker was working too. Otherwise, the story was mainly used to establish Angel getting comfortable in asking these girls (clients) to pay him after he saves them.
