The first two episodes, as I take it, were just showing all the characters and a bit of how they’re related and maybe how they were affected by Laura’s death.  Now, the weird stuff can happen!  Fun!

This episode was highlighted by Agent Cooper’s zen techniques of investigation, which apparently all stem from dreams.  And then it ended with him having a totally bizarre dream which told him who Laura’s killer was.  That’s the main part of the story, and apparently he will reveal it to Sheriff Truman in the next episode!  Series over!

Everything else that happened showed people being weird.  Laura’s father freaked out.  Eyepatch Lady was psycho.  Agent Cooper honked Sheriff Truman’s nose for no reason.  Also, he tried some coffee, spit it out, and said it was good.  Backgrounds to scenes consisted of weird images, like gigantic paintings or a huge mounted fish.  Pretty Girl Who Dances Alone A Lot danced alone in a cafe.  People were just doing strange things, and I don’t know if there’s a reason or not or if that reason is related to Laura’s death…
