Part One of the season finale… I really liked it. Basically all the Survivors get split up, which is especially intriguing because of the FlashForwards and knowing which 6 get off The Island. Hurley is off with Locke and Ben. Jack and Kate go off the beach, only to run into Sawyer. Kate returns to the beach, and Jack and Sawyer get to the helicoptor. Kate and Sayid return into the jungle to find Jack and Sawyer, who leave the helicoptor to try to find Hurley. Sun and Jin make it to the freighter, where Jin stays to try to turn off dynamite in the radio room. So since everyone who survives is at the moment with people who don’t (or remain on The Island), it is quite interesting.

The FlashForward compounds it, by showing the 6 upon immediate return to the real world. They’re lying to everyone about what happened. Jack meets Claire’s mother and learns she was his sister. Sun tells her father that two people are responsible for Jin’s death: meaning her father and someone else. The FlashForward and the present stories are starting to converge. Will they totally merge in part 2?
