Time travel fully confronted again, with another story about Desmond. It was interesting, as Desmond figured out how he was jumping back in forth in time. Dan The Physicist helped him, and in the end he made contact with Penny. I see not how this has anything to do with the rest of the story, except that it seems to have led Dan to The Island. And in that The Island seemed to have been some sort of trigger for the time jumps (though Dan was creating the time jumps in his Oxford lab too). Other than that, nothing else happened in the episode. Nobody else was really in it. Sayid was there to help fix the phone so Desmond could call Penny. Jack and Juliet were with Dan, but mostly sitting, watching him talk to Desmond on the phone, looking confused. That’s all. Wiki said this is widely regarded as one of the best episodes ever, but I dunno–the time jumps were interesting and revealing but as of yet, I don’t know how it will fit with the story up to this point (besides being a Desmond characteristic).
