Wow, this was probably one of the best episodes so far for answering things! Answers! Obviously this leads to some more questions and drama, but this whole show was quite expository.

They show how Juliet came to The Island, and (more or less) why. She is running experiments, trying to figure out why no woman has the ability to give birth on The Island; in fact, they all die. So that is why Claire was haunted early on, they were taking her blood and kidnapping her and stuff.

Presently, Jack and Sayid and Kate take Juliet back to The Island. Sawyer’s not the leader anymore! Sayid still does not trust Juliet; in fact, nobody does except Jack. Jack’s going on instinct again. But turns out–Juliet is conning them all, and is spying on them! CRAZY. Sayid is right! The show ends with her and Ben planning how she’ll spy on them (all already shown to have occurred) and then he says “see you in a week.” WHAT’S IN A WEEK!!? OMGZ! She’s the new bad guy! But she does want to get off The Island too (which is why Jack trusts her now), so she can’t be alllll bad.

I thought Jack was acting funny, telling everyone just to trust him about Juliet. He guilted people into that trust (”don’t you trust me, Charlie?”). Oh yea, and to gain their trust, Juliet saved Claire with a serum Ethan had been giving her. The creepy part–Ben said it was an implant that had been activated causing Claire’s symptoms!

They also showed that Mikhail guy, right after the plane crash. He was their communication to the real world, and gathered up all the crazy information about all the survivors. I’m still not sure how they discovered some of the things they know about them all so fast though–how did they get all the info on like who Sayid tortured? Or Sawyer’s life, which appears to be pretty off-the-record? *shrug*
