Errr uh OK, so much to wrap your head around in this one. Desmond has, as I said earlier, been having flashes of the future. This helps him save Claire from drowning. Then there’s a flashback (maybe a flashforward?) where Desmond is living in London, and keeps having flashbacks (flashforwards?) to his time on The Island.

As I think I understand it, Desmond, after The Hatch exploded, got to relive a part of his life again, where the same result resulted despite his efforts (ending up on The Island, entering numbers until The Hatch explodes). Shouldn’t this mean time stopped when The Hatch exploded? I don’t think I’m making full connections on this; I’ll sleep on it. Desmond then ends up back on The Island again, where he tells Charlie that he has been trying to save Charlie’s life over and over, but knows he won’t be successful every time.

The whole part when Desmond was in London was just jawdropping. Especially when he met with the lady selling wedding rings, who knew his whole story. She was cool. I hope she returns.

Anyway, time travel, I guess, is now game for the Lost Universe! Not sure what I think of this development either. Or maybe it’s just some sort of psychic ability of Desmond’s?
