Vradio #27: Single Artist Mix #1: Bob Dylan

A new recurring theme begins here: single artist mixes. The inspiration for this, the first one, is that this week is Bob Dylan’s birthday. I’ll get more obscure in later artist mixes; I want to introduce everyone to the joyous Danger Mouse before the Beck/DM album drops, for example. But for now, a mere tribute.
No one hour of songs could ever accurately portray Dylan’s career (even half-assedly), therefore I did not even try. This has a lot of “rarer” songs, from b-sides or soundtracks or The Bootleg Series–songs maybe you haven’t heard before, or at very least I’m putting in a new context. So many songs I wanted to include too! It turned out not the cheeriest mix in the world–mostly showcasing Dylan’s bluesier, emotional, devastating songs. It’s awesome.
