I watched this last night, but then my internets wasn’t acting funky so I didn’t post it right away. What do I remember about it? Gunn had some deal with some demon casino boss to whom, a few years back, he sold his soul. Why was it a demon casino boss, and not the devil? When the casino boss came calling for his soul, he made it clear he would take Fred’s too, because they’re in love and their souls are entwined. Awww! So Gunn viciously breaks up with Fred to unentwine their souls. In the end, Angel saves Gunn’s soul.

More memorable than that silliness was Fred going to Wesley’s hospital bed, and telling him he can’t ever return to work, because Angel would never forgive him for losing his son (and btw, the prophecy which led you to believe that was fake). Wesley leaves the hospital alone and staggers back to his lonely dark apartment. Wesley’s the best, I want his story.
