Unintentionally, this episode “Quickening” kind of slowed the story down. Basically there’s two stories going on this season–Darla’s baby and this Holtz the Vampire Hunter guy. The Darla story is kind of interesting, in how it may eventually mess with Angel’s emotions. But overall, it’s sort of lameness. The show ended with her going in to labor. Darla’s evil and when she’s the bad guy, the show is great, but right now she’s part of the gang because they’re trying to protect the baby. So it’s not quite so exciting there.

Also this Holtz guy is even more lame than that. Is he supposed to be scary? He’s just some human. He never killed Angel or Darla in the past, why would he scare them now?
