Hm this episode was kinda iffy, until the end. I like the way they wrapped it all up. Angel went undercover as a colorful, extroverted, talkative vampire (oh the comedy). There, he joined a group of demons trying to steal the shroud. Turns out the shroud makes everyone act the opposite of who they are. So Angel starts turning evil, Gunn turns greedy, Cordelia starts stealing stuff, etc. While Angel is evil, he sucks Kate’s blood. I didn’t know Kate was still around! Regardless, I wasn’t sure how they were going to explain that action and make Angel a good guy about it. In the end, they did though, which was good. He didn’t really kill Kate, just drank a little. Even better was the very end, when Wesley is worried that little taste will reawaken Angel’s bloodlust… and then they show Angel in his room, brooding, and thinking about it. It had been a long long time since he drank a live human’s blood. This could be a really bad turn of events!

No Darla in this episode. I guess she’s still run off, though Kate implied she was still looking for her.
