This episode mixed scenes of the past, when Angel was first turned into a vampire and killed his father, with a case in the present where he works a case which led to Kate dealing with her father (and him eventually dying). This made me realize how awesome it is to see Angelus. I was reminded of when he first turned evil on Buffy, which really shook the show up and kicked it to another level of awesome. Here, Darla returns and Angelus is shown arising from his grave and it’s all really cool. More of that please!

In the present, Kate seems to be coming around to liking Angel again.
