Twin Peaks #1.4: Rest In Pain
This episode was alright, but definitely seemed like a placeholder, transitional-type episode. There was constant foreshadowing and warnings. Bobby interrupted the funeral, shouting how everyone’s at fault for Laura’s death. The Sheriff was talking about the evil darkness lurking around Twin Peaks. Even the Factory Owner lady was explicit, saying “something terrible is going to happen” and then the Sheriff assuring her nothing would. All this stuff makes it feel like something huge or strange or crazy is about to occur. Will it? Or is David Lynch just drawing out tension?
Around all that, there was more investigations and forensics, though nothing as crazy as last episode. Cooper talked about his dreams, they looked for the one-armed man, Angry Autopsy Doctor found some stuff, etc.
